Airport establishes new pet policy |
|
January 20, 2010
Effective January 25, 2010 all pets must be kept in an airline approved travel kennel while in the terminal building at the Fredericton International Airport.
The Fredericton International Airport Authority has issued this policy for the comfort and safety of all airport customers and employees.
The policy is intended to respect those with allergies/other health concerns or who experience fear and anxiety when around pets. It also helps specially trained police and service/guide dogs do their jobs unimpeded.
This policy is consistent with most national and international airports. Signs will be displayed at public entrances and the policy will be posted on the airport website.
